God's timing is amazing. In the beginning of February I knew I needed to have a more detailed plan of reading God's Word. I didn't want to keep jumping around anymore. So, I decided to start in the beginning with Genesis and read a few chapters a day, plus one psalm a day. God has so many amazing miracles and promises in this book...I never knew at that time that he was creating one within me as well.
As I read, something stuck out to me more than before, how God brings infertility into the Bible over and over again in the first book. Then I noticed WHO was dealing with infertility. Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and Rachel. These 3 men are patriarchs of the Bible. These 3 men are the beginning of Jesus's lineage! How crazy is it that God uses 3 couples in the very beginning to deal with infertility, and yet has the Messiah come through this genealogy?
It struck me that infertility wasn't an afterthought of God...he planned it and used it for his glory! It made me feel special. I was never forgotten, I was picked out to bring glory to Him through it all. I pray that I take the opportunities God places in front of me to share how God has been there for me through my struggles with IF and how he has blessed me through my journey. After all, God didn't leave IF out of the Bible, why should I leave it out of my testimony?

WOW!!! What amazing insight. I never thought of that before. I agree that the story...the journey can and should be used for His Glory! It is just another mircle to show His faithfulness that no matter what anyone is going through He is always near and He always hears. May we all allow ourselves to be used for His glory.
I love this! Thanks for sharing!
