Zander brings me so much joy...I know he's a DOG...but I love him!! So, it's been GORGEOUS outside lately, so Zander and I try to take advantage of the beautiful day. You would think that a huge black dog (who is part husky) would not like the heat...but he LOVES it! I think I trained him this way. As a pup, I would always "cuddle" with him next to my space heater ( I love heat and am always cold.) Now he hears me take out the heater and is in my lap with his face right next to it!
So, now that it's nice out, we hang out outside on the deck. He sits directly in the sun so long that sometimes I can't even touch his fur cause it's so hot!! He looks so happy as he "sun bathes". He closes his eyes and takes it all in. I'm glad I have a sun tanning companion! As they say (or don't say :) like owner, like dog...or something like that :)
