On Saturday my dad came down and we spent the afternoon together. He surprised me with Coldstone ice cream and some mini eggs (I LOVE them both!!) We then went out to Grandma's and had a great lunch buffet. After, we took our dogs out for a nice walk at the park. It turned out to be a beautiful day, we saw 50 degrees!!!! I was only slightly paranoid about our dogs falling through the ice on the lake...but my dad remined me that as I stated before, we're going after them either way!! It was really nice to have that one on one time with my dad, it definately has been a while! It meant a lot that he put some thought into our activities and what we enjoy doing together. I had a GREAT day, thanks Dad!
I also received an ecard from my cousin Jackie. It was very thoughtful and nice of her to remember me!
