Gifted cousin, day 2

I received a package in the mail yesterday. I opened it and it was a dvd from my cousin Haley that she made for my 30th Birthday. I had special instructions to wait until Friday to open it though. So I just watched it, and it brought tears to my eyes! She put together a bunch of photos from childhood till now to some music. It was very nicely done! It's amazing to look back and see how far you've come along the way. To remember what my hopes and dreams were at that time, and to see how much God has blessed me! I think that is what has hit me the most over the past 30 days...how much God has blessed me. I am blessed with amazing family and friends that love me and support me. It has really taken me out of the "wo is me" notion and into, "wow God, thank you" mode. It's amazing how something that was meant to be all about me helped me move on from being all about me. For that, I'm grateful cause I see life in a new perspective!
