Tuesday evening I had a date with my oldest niece, Raena. She brought over dinner, some wildrice soup and bread, for us to share. But before we could eat dinner, I had to open my present from her. She wrapped my gift inside a larger box with a balloon taped to it...so the outside of the package made me wonder what was on the inside! As I was unwrapping, a pair of underwear fell out!!! Way back one of the girls wet themselves and I had to run to Walmart to get some underwear size 4T. Months ago, one of them forgot to bring undies with for a sleepover and they ended up wearing these...Poor Raena said she accidentely wore them to school recently and was quite uncomfortable (she's now 8!!) So she gave them back for any other kids to use if they need :). So, inside the second box was a plate she made for me with her handprint and she wrote "Happy Birthday Amber" on it. It is so adorable and means so much to me! It also matches the soup cup her sister Ev made for me!
After dinner we played the wii, played dominoes, and then watched a movie in 10 minutes. We fast forwarded to the end to watch her favorite part. It was a GREAT evening, and I wish we would have had even more time together! It was a very special time!!
