Psalm 33:20-22

"We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you."

Voicemail from an angel

"Jesus took a little child and had the child stand among them. Then he took the child in his arms. He said to them,"Anyone who welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me. And anyone who welcomes me doesn't welcome only me but also the One who sent me."" Mark 9:36-37 NIrV

Now imagine listening to your voicemail to your 9 year old niece reading this from her Bible telling me that she was thinking of Dave and I as she read this that evening!!!! I started crying as I listened, and replayed on speaker for my hubby to hear our adorable niece. This beautiful niece we helped lead to the Lord on June 18th of this year...

I called to tell her how much it meant to me and she was sleeping already, but I talked to my sis about it. I guess she was reading in her parents bedroom before going to bed (she's reading through Mark in the month of December) and she came out and got a highlighter. My sis was wondering what was going on and she came out to her and read this verse to her, and said she thought of Dave and I while reading it. My sis started crying and told my niece that God works through the Bible by sometimes giving us verses that stand out to us or makes us think of someone we know.

I was so proud of her, and her excitement on wanting to tell us! I saved my voicemail and wish I could save it to my computer...anyway, last night I got a voicemail from an angel!!

Oh how absolutely wonderful to see her at just 9 years in the word and being given insight from the Lord.

What a beautiful story. So here is my suggestion. Go to your local build a bear store. Buy the cutest animal you can find and one of the recordable boxes. Record the voicemail onto the box and have it stuffed into the animal. Keep it for your future baby.
