Psalm 33:20-22

"We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you."

In the mail, my 1st baby purchase!

I was so excited after reading some blogs on cloth diapers!! I dug in and started researching this new advanced world of diapers. All I remember is my poor niece 9 yrs ago wearing these HUGE cloth diapers that didn't allow her poor little legs to close! Plus, my bil was sewing 3 together just to make them not leak! Now, almost 10 yrs later, they've improved!!

The main reason I am looking into using them is for financial savings!! When first, I have to technically "buy" my baby, then somehow afford to feed and diaper them, I was getting worried! I always thought I'd bfeed our baby, but now that we're adopting, I plan on using formula. I know that bfeeding can be done on adoptive babies...but I really don't desire to try that.

SO, as I was saying, I researched a lot and I bought my first set today!!! They should be shipped today!!! My first baby purchase, yeah!! I went with bumg.enius 4.0 one size snaps. I got the buy 10 get 2 free deal, since I would save almost $40!! I figured this was a good start and I plan on registering for more plus getting some used as well.

I am a budget kinda girl, so this savings is exciting! Now I just need to figure out what to do when we go camping. I'll have to google cloth diapers and camping to see what I find!

YAY!! You will be glad you decided to go cloth. They are great! As for camping I would go with disposables unless you are only going for a day or so. But that's just me. I am going to use sposies in a few weeks when we travel to visit family. Definitely easier that packing, storing and washing while traveling.

We are adopting as well and we are hoping to use cloth diapering at least part of the time when the baby gets a few months old. :)
